70-Years of Independence hasn't Set Women Free! Divyanka Tripathi Angry Tweets to PM Modi!

Every household name, Ishita from 'Yeh Hain Mohabbatein’s aka Divyanka Tripathi recently shared her resentment after reading about the rape of a minor girl in Chandigarh on Independence Day.

When the whole nation was celebrating 71st Independence Day with enthusiasm and pride, that little girl was sexually assaulted by the 40-year-old man. The incident happened at the children’s traffic park, located in the heart of the city on Tuesday morning when a 12-year-old girl was on her way to home after celebrating I-Day event in her school.

The actress took to twitter and has poured her heart out to our Prime Minister sharing her fear of having a daughter. She wrote: "I never prayed for a son but now I'm afraid to have a daughter. What will I tell her? Why did I bring to her living hell?"

The actress questioned about the safety and security of women in India and shared her disturbance on the failure of our Prime Minister campaign ‘Beti Bachao’ on 71st Independence Day.
