India is truly a land of diversity. As a country, India recently witnessed a mixed bag of events. On one hand, the largest democracy in the world celebrates the pious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, while on the other hand, there has been complete chaos in certain parts of North India. The controversial religious figure Guru Ram Rahim Singh was to be summoned to a CBI court in Haryana on Friday, where he was accused and later, found guilty of rape. This lead to the followers of the self-proclaimed God-man going completely berserk as they wreaked havoc across various parts of North India.
Now that the verdict is out and Ram Rahim has been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment, matters seem to have settled down amongst the protestors.
Here is the list of Celebs who choose to speak their mind via Tweeting:

I hope he stays in jail long enough to see every one of his Nutjob followers lose enthusiasm, go back to life, and forget about him.

Didn't MSG call himself the messenger of love and peace? Clearly his followers never got the message.

Violence is what #GurmeetRamRahimSingh seems to have taught his followers. This is nonsense & Govt. needs to use full force to STOP it NOW.

Considering the sensitivity surrounding the issue, a major chunk of Bollywood celebs has decided to keep mum on the conviction of Ram Rahim Singh. Mrs Funnybones Twinkle Khanna, nevertheless, lives up to her reputation and doesn't shy away from speaking her mind.
She had numerous jokes pointed towards the man of the hour in a recent column published by TOI. When she learnt that Ram Rahim had booked dozens of rooms in a hotel for a fortnight, her guess was he probably needed the extra space even to "store his mammoth name." She frequently called him by sweet names like 'Bling Baba' and 'The Love Charger' in between her blunt puns.
Of course, Twinkle must have remained unaware of the fact Ram Rahim Singh and his followers could one day hold an entire state to ransom. As the realisation of all the mayhem spread across parts of Punjab and Haryana by his followers sunk in, Twinkle condemned such followers who call themselves Insan but forgot about their humanity and go about threatening to ‘wipe out India’. She even pointed at the ministers who failed to act under the influence of Ram Rahim.
Another superstar who decided against holding his emotions on the matter is Shah Rukh Khan. When the news of rape convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's sentencing arrived, SRK was busy shooting for his upcoming talk show titled 'Ted Talks: Nayi Soch'.
As per a report, SRK was moved by the judgment and he took the mic to say, "I am happy to say Ram Rahim Singh has been sentenced." Given the unbelievable popularity of the controversial guru, it's highly unlikely that the channel will air SRK's comments.
