Sushant Singh Rajput's upcoming flick 'Kedarnath' will go on floors this September. The film marks the Bollywood debut of Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara and the shooting will begin on September 3 somewhere near Dehradun.
'Kedarnath' directed by Abhishek Kapoor will be produced by Gulshan Kumar, KriArj Entertainment, Guy In The Sky Pictures in association with Balaji Motion Pictures.
In Abhishek own words, who is also a producer on this film, this coalition of producing partners has added tremendous value to the film, and he feels grateful and excited to have their backing.
The film is a love story set around the holy temple town of Kedarnath, and the release is expected in the summer of 2018.
Kumar has expressed that 'Kedarnath' is a very prestigious film. "It's a love story set in the land of Shiva, of whom, he's a strong believer. He stated that his devotion towards Lord Shiva is utmost and this further makes this film very special to him."
Arjun N Kapoor of KriArj Entertainment, feel that the film has "a fantastic script", while Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Motion Pictures believes that the "film is an emotional and riveting story set in India's heartland, where raw romance unfolds amidst the beauty of Kedarnath."
