Saif Ali Khan’s much talked about film Chef has already grabbed the needed attention and has already become one of the most awaited films of the year. With its release just around the corner, out comes the trailer of the film and boy, does this look yummy!!
A still from the film was released earlier where Saif can be seen cooking. The film is an easy going family movie and the looks are definitely a feast for the eyes. Here's a look at the poster:
Directed by Raja Krishna Menon of Airlift fame, Chef is produced by T-Series, Abunduntia Entertainment, and Bandra West Pictures.
This one is another example of the inspirations from the West and the Hindi adaptation of the film is made, keeping in mind, the Indian appetite. Originally, Chef is a Hollywood film that was released in 2014 and written, produced and directed by Jon Favreau.
The original Chef had an outstanding supporting cast with the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Sofía Vergara, John Leguizamo, Scarlett Johansson and Dustin Hoffman amongst others spreading their magic.
The plot moves around a father-son relationship. The Hindi version, as in the original film, also features a food truck that will journey through three foodie cities across the nation. Saif Ali Khan plays the role of the father, Roshan Kalra in the film. The film star cast also includes South actor, Padmapriya and child actor, Svar Kamble who plays Roshan's son in the film.

Apart from Chef, Saif has his bags full with other films, namely Kalakaandi, Bazaar and Battle of Buxar this year. The release for Chef is scheduled on October 6.
