Bahubali’s star Prabhas next project 'Sahoo' was in talks for zeroing down the lead actress opposite him.
According to reports, Katrina Kaif and Mohenjo Daro actress, Pooja Hegde were being considered for the film. Also, Bahubali’s onscreen wife Anushka Shetty was also in the frame. But, team Saaho welcomed the Ashiqui actress Shraddha Kapoor as the female protagonist as the final choice.
The producer of the film said, “Shraddha is the perfect choice for the role. We are excited to have her on board with us. Saaho is Prabhas's first film in Hindi and so it is very special for all of us. It is an ambitious project and will have some really high-octane action scenes".
Where there is a super hero, there will always be a super villain too. Neil Nitin Mukesh has been finalised as the antagonist of the film.
Directed by Sujeeth, Sahoo will be a high budget film of approx. 150 crores. The music of the film will be composed by Shankar-Ehsaan Loy. If sources are to be believed, the Bahubali actor will earn roughly three times as much as his co-star Kapoor.
Last seen in Half Girlfriend, Shraddha Kapoor's recent film in the queue of hitting theatres is the upcoming crime biopic Haseena Parkar.
