Arjun Kapoor Didn’t Want to be Called as 'Farzi', Walked Out of the Film and Recommended Brother Harsh Instead!

After the director’s duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s recent release ‘A Gentleman’ starring Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez faced a flop on the box office, both are now gearing for their new project titled ‘Farzi’.

According to reports, Arjun Kapoor and Kirti Sanoon were in consideration for the leads in the movie. But recently, Arjun Kapoor walked out of the project and has actually passed this offer to his cousin Harshvardhan Kapoor (son of Anil Kapoor).

If speculations to be believed, Arjun felt that at this point of his career, it would not be a sensible decision to act in a heist thriller and that to with the director’s duo whose recent release gave a big flop to the Bollywood industry. But the 32-year-old actor excused himself by saying that the dates of his upcoming movie 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' will clash with Farzi and it would be difficult for him to manage both simultaneously.

With utmost professional etiquette, Arjun Kapoor immediately recommended the other name as a lead to the directors without hanging them up even before the situation reached the second level.

The actor is currently occupied in Dibaker Banerjee’s 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' opposite his Ishqzaade co-actor Parineeti Chopra, while Harshvardhan Kapoor is expected to shoot for the titular role in Abhinav Bindra’s biopic.
