Habib Faisal's ‘Ishaqzaade’ actors, Arjun (Kapoor) and Parineeti (Chopra) are expected to share screen space again after 5 years gap with Dibakar Banerjee's upcoming venture ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’.
The 48-year-old director has always been known for his dark, deep and realistic movies like Shanghai, Love Sex or Dhokha and Bombay Talkies, while Arjun and Parineeti are known for their action, thriller and romantic, fun filled projects respectively. The teaming of this director and these actors was quite unexpected in Bollywood industry.
Still, Banerjee is soon to make a romantic lovey-dovey movie. In conversation with the leading daily, director Banerjee said, “This feels like my first film, again. I’ve had to unlearn everything I know to tell this story about a man and a woman who can’t stand each other but can’t survive without each other.”
As per the reports, the story will deal with some kind of depression in a love hate relationship and either of the actors will be going through the same trauma.
Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar produced by Yash Raj Films is expected to go into production this September. Earlier, YRF and Dibakar (Banerjee) worked together in the movie titled ‘Titli’ and critically acclaimed Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!
Now, the audience is eagerly waiting to get faraar with his upcoming project.
