The trend of biopics is taking Bollywood like a storm and Hrithik is yet another actor to join the bandwagon.
Shraddha Kapoor's biographical crime movie Haseena Parkar and Sanjay Dutt’s biopic are in the queue to amaze us and now after a lot of speculations, it has been confirmed that Hrithik is going to play the male lead in mathematician and columnist Anand Kumar’s biopic directed by Vikas Bahl.
The movie will be titled as ‘Super 30’ and is based on the life of Patna-based maths genius Anand (Kumar) who started the Super 30 program for economically backward IIT students. With films like Mary Kom and Dangal, our eyes are glued with high expectations on this one.
As per the reports, Akshay Kumar was the first choice as the leading actor but it is Hrithik who ultimately bagged the film. The 43-year-old actor will be playing a real-life character for the first time. And guess what, Katrina is going to play the lead protagonist in the film!
Bang Bang actors will reunite and are leaving no stone unturned for the film. They were spotted meeting Anand Kumar separately. Hrithik recently invited Kumar to his residence in Mumbai and the latter even shared pictures of the meeting with Hrithik Roshan by writing, “Just returned to Patna from Mumbai. But really I can’t forget my meeting yesterday with Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan. The way he invited me to his house and gave me the honour really showed that he is not just a great artist but also a great human being. Thanks, Hrithik ji, thanks a lot.”
If things go as per the current situation, it would be interesting to see both the actors together again on-screen. The release date of the movie is yet to be finalised.
